Yesterday afternoon was uncharacteristically cool and windy, so I thought I’d stroll around the city for a change. First off, I walked from home (in Matina) and up Sandawa Road to the damaged Bankerohan Bridge. I wanted to take pictures of the bridge and write about it in my Davao blog. The weather was so agreeable that I decided to go walk some more; that was my very first time to cross a bridge on foot here in Davao.
From there I walked to my friend’s office on Magallanes St., had a spot of coffee, then proceeded to an internet café to post my blog article about the bridge. When I emerged from the café, it was lightly drizzling, but still I walked on. This time I thought I’d visit my friend’s studio, Corework Pilates, on Jacinto Extension. But he wasn’t around when I got there, so I walked on to Victoria Plaza, to one of my favorite coffee shops, Basti’s Brew.
Oh by the way, I still do weigh in at 69kg.
