One way of getting out of the doldrums (a.k.a. severe blogging lethargy) is a theme extreme make-over. And that’s exactly what I’ve done for Mission: 6-Pack Abs.
I guess I was getting tired of the previous theme… actually, I don’t think I was ever really happy with it in the first place. (Of course, I wouldn’t admit that I just got lazy!!)
This new theme, though, it looks really exciting, if a bit too red — nothing a little CSS tweaking won’t solve. But I like it. Anything to get me inspired to write about health & fitness again. And to actually exercise again as well!
But it’s not just that. Since January this year I’ve come up with 8 blogs that I own or co-author. Sadly, this one came to suffer from attention deficit. (This wasn’t the #1 loser, though. It was my high school batch blog that really got neglected… but that’s another story.) I seriously doubt there are plenty of people who can maintain that many blogs equally and as faithfully. Unless maybe he does it full time. Hmmm… why not? But no, my problogging career’s still just a fantasy. Best not quit my day job just yet.
At any rate, my spending a couple of hours upgrading to the latest WordPress rollout, viewing various themes and finally choosing one, reinstalling the myriad codes and scripts that make blogs worthwhile — all of this should prove that this health & fitness blog of mine is back on the saddle!
My birthday’s coming up this month, and my resolution is to get myself back on track to trimming and toning my body. My next venture is into Pilates. Good thing there’s a Pilates studio here in my city, and lucky me because the owner is my friend.
