first photos guys!
Ok y’all so here it is my first pictures taken a couple of days ago. I actually went to the gym yesterday after doing a spot of scuba in samal. I was sooo tired when we got back off the boat but I was partially inspired by my new korean friends, Brent and Roy who we met on the dive (btw koreans are fucking crazy!! great people! defs wanta visit sometime soon). So anyway, these guys are absolute MACHINES!! like seriously ripped the both of them and it really wet my appetite for the weights room.
I started with a chest superset – dumbell chest press alternating with flies and push ups, and then a bicep superset – hammer curls with ez curls. I wound down (if you can call it that) with some ab crunches and a run around the jogging track. They have a really quality ab crunch machine at holiday that I’ve never come across before. You lie down flat and grip the bars behind your head and then perform the crunch using the power from your abs to propel you. You can add plates to the machine on the bottom to increase resistance..really good idea for a piece of kit actually. I do love working out my abs but I think its one of those muscle groups which gets really bored really quickly of the same exercise/movement. Holiday seems to have a couple of good options for this common problem. Naturally I feel like a rape victim today because of how long it’s been since I’ve visited the weights room..but it’s quite a nice feeling really. That pain is symbolic of achievement and growth..two of my fave buzz words. Anyway, will probs be in the gym next tomorrow or tuesday depending on how much of a cripple I am tomorrow.
